What Makes Our Product Superior?
- A custom-made product:
Each job we do is completely unique. All elements may differ from job to job: wood species, divided light configurations, window types and sizes, and the types of glass and hardware used. - We make what you need:
Our clients solicit our services if they have special requirements that the large window manufacturers can not satisfy. We can match existing windows, and produce specific and/or odd sizes. We also fabricate hard-to-find windows. - Mortise and tenon joinery:
We feature mortise and tenon sash joinery on our sash, a traditional and strong method of sash construction. Our sash are superior to those of other custom manufacturers, who may use a different type of sash joinery such as dowels. - High quality materials:
All our windows are constructed from solid, clear wood. It is carefully selected for its beauty and durability. We make windows from hard-to-find woods, including mahogany or redwood. We can also use "green" FSC certified lumber. We never use any finger-jointed material. - A full range of hardware and glass options:
We provide a full range of hardware options as specified by each project. We have several sources of glass suppliers and can use glass supplied by the customer. We can accomodate your special requirements. - Energy-efficiency:
Our operating windows are fully weatherstripped and are carefully sized to operately smoothly while fitting tightly. We can use the latest soft-coat low E insulated glass if specified. Wood is a great natural insulator. - Versatility:
Our windows can be painted or stained to match other elements of a house. Finish painting and staining is done by others.
